Givenchy Resort 2013: A Scarf-Print Wonderland!
I am one of their victims. Got caught up in their illegal trade some years ago, my eyes are open, but I can’t stop what they’re doing to me. In the past they stayed under the radar since it was only a single pair here and there, just enough to tease us with, but not too many at a time to have us going crazy. Now they’re getting bold and brave with their takeover, grouping together under a single name, hitting the runways and the streets. Fashion brands are producing these sexy soleful criminals in groups and there is nothing we can do to fight against them.
Records are being broken people and the 2012 Olympics haven’t begun yet. I know some of us can’t help but getting into a fashion trend like it’s the latest dance craze, but if there is one trend that needs to be put to rest or avoided by all means, it’s the floral blazer.
Can’t do it, can’t do it, cant do. Getting on the clog bandwagon has been a back and forth dilemma for almost a year now. I like to stay ahead of the trends, and wearing clogs before the masses was my initial plan, but unfortunately the selection at the time would of done me more harm than good. Why should I put on plain black clogs? The same black clogs that were in style almost a decade ago? Have we not evolved in our designing abilities?
Then Proenza Schouler proved me wrong, with their version of the clogs and I was back on along with everyone else it seemed..
