This is my last week of spring classes at FIT, blow the trumpets! I’m not excited just because the semester is coming to an end, but it’s also the amount of time I’ll have to share my stories, projects, tons of fashion advice! But, right now things are looking brighter, shorter and chicer as we enjoy our spring days.
Like fall, spring is a transition season or a should I say a transformation season. It’s that time we can transform our winter bodies into the summer stunners after a couple of Tracy Anderson sessions. Until we feel more comfortable showing certain parts of our bodies some of us may want to keep certain areas covered and still look sexy.
We can try the S.S.C. Short.Shift.Color.
Short: Only half is all you need to achieve the “Sexy Legs” title, and it just so happens that region below the knees and above the ankles are the last places you gain weight. Therefore wear short skirts and dresses that fall just above or below the knees, until you feel more comfortable to go even shorter in length!
A Shift dress or blouse usually hangs loose from the shoulders, doesn’t hug the body too tight, and has little or no definition in the waist, making it easier to hide the belly we’re working on toning or not.
Color you cannot do wrong with. Spring is when we explore an array of colors in solids or within prints, making them positive distractions when you want to take the attention away from problem areas of your body.
