What’s In Your Bag Ladies?

What we carry in our handbags can give others more insight into our personality and what we do better than any resume or profile created on a dating website.

For my guest blogging gig, I asked a handful of friends to open their handbags, and share the goodies they can’t leave their houses without. After seeing what they carry, I think there should be a more chic definition of bag-ladies. Erykah Badu’s version has nothing on these gals!

This week I’m featuring two glam goddesses.

Jun Lee: Art Curator for Ogilvy & Mather
As long as I’ve known Jun, she’s carried a good sized handbag, so I’ve always assumed they were filled with art-related books or magazines and a small arsenal of makeup products. Jun proved that you shouldn’t judge a bag owner by it’s cover. One day, I noticed what little she actually carries and when I pointed this out, her response was “the IPad has everything I need!” There you have it folks, technology helps us to avoid shoulder problems.

It’s a vintage bag from the 80′s purchased at Brooklyn Flea.

On special occasions she inserts rich, bright colors in her style in the form of makeup and accessories—which can often be seen spilling from her bag.
