All white looks 2

This Time All White Is Right.

“Girls in white skirts and dresses no blue satin sashes

Snowflake colored shoes, heels no sign of grey ashes

Silver white shorts, to rock during the summer or spring

These are a few of my favorite white things.”

Summertime in New York comes along with some traditions, bar-b-ques, block parties, and an All White party.  It’s like a right of passage for most of us, receiving at least one invite to an All White event we must attend, and it doesn’t matter how many we’ve attended in years past, we are always rolling our eyes, wondering how to not fall short on the one requirement of an all-white party,  and avoid being turned away from the door due to an outfit made up of a white top, white shorts, and grey flats.  If it ain’t all white, it ain’t right. period.

I got started early on my research not only myself, but for others who I know will be asking me for help finding white options to create that cool enough outfit that Diddy will give his sunglass-clad seal of approval.

Style Tip: Don’t fret about creating an all white look when needed.  Approach it just like you would when creating an all-black outfit.  Nothing but that color for the clothes and footwear then use your accessories to insert subtle evidence of color, like gold or silver.
