Monday Men Style: New Man On The Block: Raun Larose

My favorite piece from Raun Larose's Fall/Winter Collection

I have a thing for designers who managed to make clothes I want to take off the men they’ve created them for, and wear the designs myself.  Raun Larose managed to get my lustful eyes twinkling with some of the pieces from his Fall/Winter 2011 collection.  I wondered what this new addition on my designers radar was going to serve us with his spring/summer collection?
“Dressy in the front and sporty in the back.” That’s how I’ll describe Raun Larose’s S/S 2012 collection.  This Brooklyn based designer isn’t well-known, but will not stay that way for too long.  I love his technique of making practical clothes into very functional, innovation well-tailored sportswear that look easy to wear.

I love how he blatantly tailored the shorts shorter than the front pockets.

This is a piece I can see myself wearing with a leather belt, or left open with riding boots or booties, tampered jeans and a turtleneck top.
